IRGC Ready to Resume War against Aggressors: Commander – Politics news

In a meeting with the Iranian Army commander on Thursday, IRGC Commander Major General Mohammad Pakpour said the morale among his forces is at the highest level.

He stated that the Iranian Armed Forces are fully coordinated and prepared to repeat dealing blows to the enemy.

Highlighting the combat preparedness of the IRGC, the commander said Iran will not allow aggressors to escape safely.

He said the IRGC is ready to restart the battle against the aggressors from the very point it came to a halt.

Praising the Iranian nation’s heroic resistance during 12 days of war as the greatest asset to the Armed Forces, the commander described “unity in pluralism” as the invincible castle of Iran.

He noted that the Iranian Armed Forces managed to thwart the toughest and most complicated war and sedition against the country in history with heroic support from the people during the Israeli and US aggression.

Pointing to a shift in the calculations of the enemies in the face of the Iranian nation’s resistance and wisdom of the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Pakpour said the Israeli regime witnessed the promised hell in the final days of the war.

While the Zionist regime waged a war of aggression against Iran on June 13 and struck Iran’s military, nuclear and residential areas for 12 days, the US stepped in and conducted military attacks on three nuclear sites in Iran’s Natanz, Fordow and Isfahan on June 22.

The Iranian military forces conducted powerful counterattacks immediately after the aggression. The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Aerospace Force carried out 22 waves of retaliatory missile strikes against the Zionist regime as part of Operation True Promise III that inflicted heavy losses on cities across the occupied territories.

Also, in response to the US attacks, Iranian armed forces launched a wave of missiles at al-Udeid air base in Qatar, the largest American military base in West Asia.

A ceasefire that came into force on June 24 brought the fighting to a halt.
