Foreign Minister Araghchi meets Iran’s new ambassador, consul generals

During his meeting with Gharibnejad, who previously served as a cultural advisor and deputy for public diplomacy at the Foreign Ministry, the ambassador presented his proposals for strengthening ties between Tehran and Zagreb. Araghchi emphasized the importance of enhancing relations in the Balkans, particularly with Croatia, focusing on economic and cultural exchanges.

Similarly, Mahmoudi outlined his plans to advance his responsibilities in Dubai. Araghchi highlighted the necessity of reinforcing collaboration between Iran and the UAE, particularly in economic, commercial, cultural, and consular areas, while also addressing the needs of the Iranian community in the region.

Rezapanah shared his insights on the mission’s scope and potential initiatives. Araghchi reiterated the significance of Iran-Afghanistan relations, stressing the need for enhanced cooperation, especially in economic and consular matters.
