“Gaza remains a symbol of resistance and oppression, a truth once again proven by the astonishing and tireless resilience of its men, women, and children amid the atrocities committed by the terrorist Israeli regime over the past 22 months,” the top Iranian diplomat said in a post on his X account on Monday.

“Throughout this period, the criminal Zionists have not hesitated to use any means, including the shameless tactic of using thirst and starvation as a weapon against the defenseless people of Gaza. Yet, as always, the Zionists have failed to break their iron resolve,” he said.

“Attacking queues of starving people waiting for a piece of bread, a sip of water, or humanitarian aid is a blatant war crime and a crime against humanity,” Araqchi stated.

“The international community and self-styled defenders of human rights in the West must be held accountable for shedding the blood of over 1,000 innocent people caught in death traps set by the US and Israeli regime at aid distribution points, and for more than 600 needy individuals who fell victim to a cruel, 140-day siege due to lack of medicine, food, and water in Gaza,” he added.

“History and the awakened human conscience will rightly judge this inaction,” the Iranian foreign minister noted.

The Israeli forces killed more than 60 Palestinians, including 11 aid seekers, in attacks across Gaza on Monday.

Dozens of Palestinians have been killed while trying to get food from aid sites run by the notorious US-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation.
